"Observations on Wars in the 21st Century: From Afghanistan to Ukraine"
Atlanta Rotary is pleased to welcome back Donald “Larry” Sampler. Last August, Mr. Sampler provided us a riveting and dramatic look at Afghanistan as the U.S. exited the country. Seven months later, Mr. Sampler is back to provide a deeper look at 21st century wars that bear little resemblance to the wars that were waged in the 20th century. How has the emergence of communications technology changed the way countries conduct modern warfare? Mr. Sampler will also provide his analysis of the unfolding situation in Russia’s invasion into the Ukraine.
