The organization serves the homeless, victims of domestic violence and those who have suffered sex trafficking and exploitation, along with those living in poverty in zip code 30314. More than 20,000 individuals have benefitted from the services offered by City of Refuge and the organization now has affiliate groups in more than a dozen locations around the United States as well as in Jamaica and the Dominican Republic.
Bruce has been honored in many arenas ranging from private organizational honors to being recognized by the City of Atlanta, the Governor of Georgia, People Magazine, Major League Baseball and, most recently, as the FBI Director’s Community Impact award winner for 2017. Bruce is a sought after speaker and presenter in both public and private venues and serves as a consultant to numerous non-profit organizations. For more information on City of Refuge click here
