INDUSTRY AND KNOWLEDGE

Karole currently serves as the Vice Chair of Industry and Knowledge for the Americas at Ernst & Young .  In this role, Karole is leading the Americas implementation of the Global Industry sectors, providing leadership to the Center for Business Knowledge and working on global execution of the industry and knowledge plans.

Prior to this national role, she served as the Area Industry Leader for the Financial Services Industry (FSI) practice in the Southeastern U.S. and the Office Managing Partner for the Birmingham, Alabama Office, as well as the Partner Advisory Council for Ernst & Young, North America, working closely with the E&Y Americas Executive Board.

Karole previously served as the Regional Partner for the Financial Services Industry for the South/West Region, as well as leader of Ernst & Young's Fair Lending Practice in Regulatory Consulting, serving many of the largest financial institutions across the U.S.

Karole has over 27 years experience serving various clients in the financial services industry and is active in various civic organizations and educational institutions throughout the U.S.She is a CPA licensed in Alabama.

Karole is active in various civic organizations including the United Way, the Boys Scouts of America, Junior League, and has or is serving on the advisory committees of the Accounting Programs for four universities.  Karole has provided training and educational programs throughout her career both internal to E&Y and in various professional and civic audiences throughout the U.S.

Karole and her husband, John have three sons.
