About

A Community of Leaders Committed to “Service Above Self”

The official Rotary International motto is “service above self,” and for more than a century, the Rotary Club of Atlanta has brought together Atlanta’s business and civic leadership to inspire progress with this important purpose in mind.

100+ Years

Founded in 1913, The Rotary Club of Atlanta frequently has been honored by Rotary International as one of its truly outstanding affiliates.

460+ Members

With 460+ members, Atlanta Rotary is certainly one of the world’s largest Rotary Clubs. It is a longstanding tradition that every member of the Club must be a key leader in his or her field and a person of integrity who values community service.

Passion For Service

Our members are extraordinary patrons of art, education, politics and many other worthwhile causes and institutions. Most importantly, they give their time and lend their influence to causes they and Rotary support.

Doing the Greatest Good

It’s an awful thing to contemplate, but due to a variety of factors, Atlanta has become a hub for buying and selling humans. The Rotary Club of Atlanta saw an opportunity to change this reality of Atlanta, and with this vision, the Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force was assembled.

The Task Force is working hard to help put a stop to the human trafficking crisis in Atlanta, collaborating with major companies to accelerate programs already in place and create a forum to share ideas and work together to drive change.
